SaPKo

Savon Pallokerho, known as SaPKo, is an ice hockey club from Savonlinna, founded in 1929. The club's first team plays in Mestis, the second tier of Finnish ice hockey, with home games at the Talvisalo arena. SaPKo is one of the most visible sports brands in Eastern Finland and a central part of the ice hockey community in Savonlinna.

SaPKo has a remarkably rich history. The club has developed a long line of top players who have gone on to the Finnish top league, the national team and even the NHL – including Tuukka Rask, Jarmo Myllys, Ville Leino and Jarkko Immonen. A strong supporter community has grown around the club, complemented by a U20 team and junior activities.

Through Sport Vertical, brands can build partnerships with SaPKo as part of a wider sports network – as campaigns, sponsorships or other commercial collaborations.
