Jadelen Knös

In athletics, Jadelen's main events are the 100 and 200 metres, and she represents Turun Urheiluliitto. At the moment she is focusing determinedly on developing as a sprinter.

Jadelen's sports background is in football, which she played among others for TPS in Turku. Team sport gave her a strong foundation for goal-oriented training, but moving to athletics has shifted the focus even more strongly to her own performance, speed and continuous development.

Alongside sport, Jadelen is in her third year studying chemical and process engineering at Åbo Akademi University. As a member of the Turku Region Sports Academy she is able to combine ambitious sport with her studies and complete her degree over six years. Her engineering studies also reflect her character: she is energetic, creative and enjoys problem solving.

Bilingual Jadelen's life is full of speed and creativity outside sport and studies too. In her free time she likes doing jigsaw puzzles, painting and going for drives. One of Jadelen's most distinctive interests is cars. The Toyota Celica she built has been on display among other places in the Young Builder category of the American Car Show.

Jadelen's social media, especially Instagram, shows above all an active and energetic lifestyle. She is often training, studying, on the move or working on something new. She is also at home in front of the camera as a content creator and is interested in modelling and studio shoots.

Jadelen's distinctive athlete story has only just begun, and right now is an interesting moment to follow where determined work, a versatile background and new opportunities can take her.
